Hamilton Jones, CFSP, President Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory and Menifee Valley Memorial Park awarded 2006 Young Funeral Director of the Year by California Funeral Directors Association (CFDA). This award presented in recognition of excellence in professionalism, compassion for families served and contributions to the community while under the age of 35 years.

California Funeral Directors Association is the premier California state organization for funeral homes and companies serving the funeral profession. The purpose of CFDA is to advocate and provide continuous professional development, and enhance the economic viability of over 650 member funeral service practitioners in order to provide customer services

NFDA Pusuit of Excellence Award

Miller-Jones Mortuary is the proud recipient of the the Pursuit of Excellence Award.

Pursuit of Excellence (P.O.E.) is the National Funeral Director's Association premier program for honoring excellence and ethical standards in funeral service. To achieve recognition in the "Pursuit of Excellence" Program, a funeral home must meet quality service criteria in nine categories of achievement. The categories include education, compassionate service, technical skills, community and professional service, library and media resources, professional development, in-house staff training and superior public and community relations.

ICCFA's KIP Award recognizes the best in personalization in the cemetery, funeral service and cremations profession. This award acknowledges demonstration by the Miller-Jones staff of a strong commitment to personalization, to servicing the community and to providing caring, meaningful services to families in their time of need.
